Jay Chemicals keeps pace with new technological developments and invests in technology development and ongoing search for new solutions.

Jay has multipurpose flexible production plant and it has three lines of production, out of which one is exclusively dedicated to pharma intermediates.

Majority of the production is done under close system with least handling of chemicals so as to minimize cross contamination and human exposure. For this Jay makes extensive use of agitated filter cum dryer for solid filtration and drying in the same equipment.

Pilot Plant

The Pilot Plant facility consists of :

• 300 Liters glass lined reactor with accessories Operating Pressure: up to 6 kg/cm2; Operating temp: - 10°C to 200°C
• 500 Liters SS 316 reactor with accessories Pressure up to 15 kg/cm2
• 500 Liters MSGL reactor; Pressure up to 7.5 kg/cm2
• 100 Liters SS 316 reactor
• 1000 Liters PP/FRP reactor
• 24" Halar Coated Centrifuge
• 100 Liters glass lined rotocone dryer
• Glass scrubber : 30 kg/hour
